Barley Creek Brewing Company
    Tannersville, PA
http://www.barleycreek.com
The first place I stopped, and a great kickoff to the brewery tours!
They were hosting the county "Wing-off" and had a good Rock 'n Roll band.
Good beers and a great atmosphere.
Back
Willimantic Brewing Company
    Willimantic, CT
http://www.willibrew.com
Very nice brewpub located in an old Post Office building.
Good food, friendly service, and a good selection of beers.
Back
Trinity Brewing Company
    Providence, RI
Good Brewpub in the heart of Providence. Good atmosphere, food, and beers.
Back
Union Station Brewing Company
    Providence, RI
A little more upscale than Trinity, but a decent place to eat and have a cold one.
Back
Watch City Brewing Company
    Waltham, MA
http://www.flashdates.com/watchcity.htm
Smaller pub with a blue collar atmosphere, but very nice and good beers.
Back
Portsmouth Brewing Company
    Portsmouth, NH
http://www.portsmouthbrewery.com
Very nice place in the heart of the Portsmouth shopping district.
Back
Federal Jack's
    Kennebunk, ME
http://www.federaljacks.com
A little off the beaten path, but a very large Pub/Restaraunt with good beers and atmosphere.
Back
Whale's Tail
    Old Orchard Beach
Very small bar in the middle of a "Family" restaraunt. Not open for lunch, but
not a real brewpub anyway (as far as I could tell).
Back
Sebago Brewing Company
    ME
Very nice and friendly place near the mall. More like a chain restaraunt on the food side,
but very good beers and friendly service
Back
Gritty McDuff's
    Portland, ME
http://www.grittys.com
Typical Brewpub in downtown Portland.
Back
Sea Dog Brewing Company
    ME
http://www.seadogbrewing.com
Very nice Pub/Restaraunt. Good Happy hour, and nice beers.
Back
Belfast Bay Brew Pub
    Belfast, ME
Very good place! Good food and very friendly service. Talked to the owner/brewer
for quite a while.
Back
Atlantic Brewing Company
    Bar Harbor, ME
More of a commercial Microbrewery with a good tasting room, but a good tour and
excellent beers! Nice gift shop and friendly people.
Back
Bar Harbor Brewing Company
    Bar Harbor, ME
Saw the gift shop, but the tasting room was closed for brewing. Also more
of a commercial Microbrewery.
Back
Jack Russel's
    Bar Harbor, ME
Small brewery serving a nice restaraunt. Was closed when I got there,
so no opinion on their beers.
Back
Tapps Brewpub
    Saint John, NB
In the heart of downtown Saint John, this is a nice (and fairly typical) brewpub.
The Brewer gave me a good tour of his small brewery. Very good beers!
Back
Rudders Brewing Company
    Yarmouth, NS
Decent restaraunt with a nice outdoor patio on the waterfront. Beers were fine.
Back
Propeller's
    Halifax, NS
Located in a fairly seedy area of Halifax, I didn't make it in for lack of
parking. Looked a little strange from the outside (more of an African Cafe).
My understanding is that it's also more of a commercial microbrewery.
Back
Rogue's Roost Brewing Company
    Halifax, NS
http://www.halifaxhops.com/roguesroost/
Excellent Pub with very friendly service and live entertainment. Very good beers.
Back
Maritime Brewing Company
    Dartmouth, NS
The brewery has been sold to Sleemans, a major Canadian brewer, so I would
not put this in the Microbrewery category. Restaraunt was ok, but when
I returned later to get a growler I was treated extremely badly. I won't
be back, and you shoudn't go either.
Back
Granite Brewing Company
    Halifax, NS
http://www.granitebrewery.ca
Excellent british style brewpub in an old historic building. Very good
beers and atmosphere.
Back
Duke of Duckworth
    St. John's, NF
http://www.theduke.nf.ca
A British Pub with a wide variety of commercial beers on tap. The owner
is basically a homebrewer who built a 50 gallon system and has one
of his homebrews on tap in the bar (which wasn't too bad). Still, a nice place.
Back
Quidi Vidi Brewing Company
    St John's, NF
http://www.newfoundlandbeer.com/
A very nice commercial Microbrewery with an interesting location in a small harbor town
on the outskirts of St. John's. Had a very good discussion with the brewers after
a nice tour. Good gift shop, but tasting from bottles only.
